Solar Plant Designer

Job Overview:
Sonnect utility private limited is a leading solar consulting firm based in Ahmedabad, specializing in sustainable energy solutions. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Solar Plant Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Microsoft Office suite, along with a minimum of one year of solar plant design engineering experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Solar Plant Design:
• Utilize AutoCAD and SketchUp to design solar plants based on client specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct site assessments to gather relevant data for design and layout.
2. BOM Calculation:
• Calculate Bill of Materials (BOM) for solar plants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials at competitive rates.
3. Project Coordination:
• Work closely with the installation team to ensure seamless project coordination.
• Provide technical support during the installation phase and address any design-related issues.
4. Documentation:
• Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, calculations, and project reports.
• Maintain organized records of design revisions and project updates.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
2. Minimum of one year of hands-on experience as a Solar Plant Design Engineer.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Strong understanding of solar plant design principles and best practices.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
